SPACE ENGINEERING
The aim of the Master of Space Engineering (MSE) program is to train systems engineers who will be able to meet the rapidly growing demands of the space industry in their future careers.
Learning goals
Upon successful completion of the master's degree, students will have skills, experience, and a strong network to advance their space careers either in Europe, in their home country, or elsewhere.Content
The program provides applied specialist knowledge in the area of space engineering. Students will acquire a broad-based knowledge of areas such as space system design, space mission planning and operations, space robotics and satellite technology.
The curriculum also focuses on small satellites, an area in which TU Berlin enjoys worldwide leading expertise. Students will further have the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge working in space projects, both at the University and with partners from industry. Key interdisciplinary subjects such as project and innovation management, intercultural skills, communications training, and entrepreneurship complete the curriculum.
Target group
The master is open to all interested participants who meet the application requirements.Prerequisites
- Previous degree (at least Bachelor’s equivalent)
- English proficiency, proved by one of the following: Internationally recognised English language certificate – e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, or comparable. The minimum score for the TOEFL is 80 for the Internet-based test and 550 for the paper-based test. The IELTS examination is accepted with a 6 band score (academic modules).

- Minimum of one year’s work experience including relevant internship periods gained after graduation
