Course format
Are you looking for a short, intensive course of up to five days in duration? Our seminars & workshops have been designed to fit around the demands of your job, so that you can maximise your learning and minimise your time away from work. If you’re keen to dive into one our topics in more detail, then take a look at our certificate courses. They run between 2 and 8 weeks, depending on format and conclude with the awarding of TU Berlin Academy Certificate of Professional Education. If you’re looking for a full degree program, either part-time or full-time, check out our Master Degree’s.
Prerequisites
Take a look at our course descriptions to see if there are any prerequisites for your course, before registering. You’ll find details on participation requirements from basic knowledge to language skills, as well information on technical requirements (laptop, specific software etc.).

Follow these easy steps:
On our Short Courses page, you’ll find details of all of the courses currently on offer at the Academy. Select your course of interest, click on ‘Add to cart’ and your selection will be added to your shopping cart. From there, you can follow the prompts to complete your registration and pay for the course. You will receive confirmation of your registration via email. If you have any questions during the registration process, we are available to answer them by phone or message.

Registration deadline
The registration deadline is usually four weeks before the course starts. If you have missed this deadline, we will still be happy to hear from you and add you to our waiting list.
Quality Assurance
The TU Berlin Academy for Professional Education offers excellent continuing education with access to cutting-edge research at the renowned Technische Universität Berlin. Our quality standards are aligned to the established standards implemented at TU Berlin. All of the Academy’s courses are evaluated on a regular basis and its Academic Board play a key role in ensuring the development and delivery of high-quality courses.
Course fees
Course fees are determined by the intensity of the course (study hours) and the nature of the course materials and content. At the Academy, we distinguish between Seminars & Workshops (1-5 days), Certificate Courses (2-8 weeks) and Master Degrees (2-4 semesters).
Our courses start from 975 €. Please refer to the course descriptions for detailed information.
Fees include course content and materials, access to the learning platform, course excursions and guest speakers (where applicable) and certification. Accommodation and meals are not included.
Bildungszeit
The German Bildungszeitgesetz (Educational Leave Act) makes it possible for employees working in Germany to apply for educational leave with their employers. Our courses are recognized under this law, according to paragraph § 10 (5) of the Berliner Bildungszeitgesetz (BiZeitG). Applications for recognition of our courses in other federal states can be prepared by the Academy team on request.
Accomodation
Contact us for support in booking accommodation for yourself or participants from your company, for the duration of your stay in Berlin. We will be glad to assist.

The central campus of TU Berlin is easily reached via subway, S-Bahn and bus.
Learning platform
You’ll receive access to our online learning platform once you’ve successfully registered for your course.
The learning platform gives you a quick overview of course dates and content. Your lecturers will make all course materials available to you on the platform so that you can easily access the content from anywhere. In addition, you can use our forum to get in touch with other participants from your course and to exchange ideas or discuss course content.
Our conference tool can also be accessed via the learning platform so that you can participate in online events, wherever you are.

Community (Alumni)
Become part of our community and subscribe to our newsletter! This way you can network with others, stay up to date with our offers and participate in the activities of the TU Berlin Academy.
Language
Our courses are offered in German or English. See the course pages for details. In order to take part in a meaningful way, participants are required to have a command of the course language to at least level B1, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Please contact us should you have any questions.
10% discount for members of the TU Berlin Alumni Program
Good news! Members of the TU Berlin Alumni Program receive a 10% discount on their course booking. All that is required is a certificate of membership in the Alumni Program, which must be submitted when booking a course.

On-site…blended-learning…online…
We offer different learning formats, designed to fit your needs. Choose from in-person courses, delivered on campus at the TU Berlin; blended format courses, with a combination of in-person and online course components; or study completely online. Our online learning platform will provide access to course materials and facilitate interaction with your course lecturers and peers. During courses with self-study elements, you will have the opportunity to exchange directly with your lecturers in the form of, for example, open office hours or impulse lectures. These sessions allow you to deepen your knowledge and work on practical tasks. See our course page for details.
