TU Berlin announces launch of the TU Berlin Academy for Professional Education

The President of the TU Berlin, Prof. Dr. Geraldine Rauch has announced the launch of the TU Berlin Academy for Professional Education.

With the official launch of the TU Berlin Academy for Professional Education, the TU Berlin, one of the Germany’s largest technical universities, now offers a comprehensive range of continuing education programs for working professionals and graduates

"With the TU Berlin Academy, we are expanding our activities in professional and continuing education. We are transferring scientific findings, new technologies and ideas at university level to individuals who can use them to make a sustainable contribution in their professional practice," commented Prof. Dr. Rauch. "In this way, the TU Berlin is also opening itself up to new target groups and is increasingly appealing to people interested in professional education and science and who want to develop themselves through short-term, academically-based educational opportunities."

The fee-based courses are offered in German and English and take place in-person at the TU Berlin, or online or in blended learning format. The TU Berlin Academy offers compact seminars and workshops, more intensive certificate courses and comprehensive master's degree programs. Participants can choose the content and format that suits them best. In addition, the Academy offers customised courses, tailored to the needs of individual companies and organisations.

The TU Berlin Academy's courses are led by experienced professors and lecturers from the TU Berlin and beyond, who share their knowledge in a lively, engaging and creating way. The link between academia and professional practice plays a key role in all courses and participants will be encourage to actively take part in all of their sessions – regardless of the format.

Courses at the TU Berlin Academy are available in a range of fields including data science, mobility, engineering, leadership, management and sustainability.
