China Competence

The TU Berlin Academy is pleased to announce that it is now offering the Certificate Course China Competence, delivered in collaboration with the Center for Cultural Studies on Science and Technology in China (TU Berlin).

The certificate course comprises four individual courses and a concluding workshop on intercultural communication, through which participants can enhance their knowledge in the areas of culture, politics, society, as well as science and technology in China. The goal of the certificate course is to increase opportunities for a successful global career and to be well-prepared for future decision-making in an international context.

Course lecturers are experts from TU Berlin who actively incorporate their work experience and research into interactive and informative course content.

Participants have the choice of taking all four courses and earning the Certificate of Chinese Competence or can take one or more of the individual courses, which also end with a certificate from the TU Berlin.

The topics and dates of the four individual courses are as follows:

• Philosophical Traditions, History, Society and Economy of China, November 9-10, 2023
• Technology, Digitalization, Innovation in China, December 7-8, 2023
• Urbanization, Ecology, Climate in China, January 25-26, 2024
• Research and Higher Education Policy, Foreign Affairs, Culture and Education Policy in China, February 15-16, 2024
