The certificate course takes an in-depth look at how organizations can build, sustain and foster a positive entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial mindset within their teams and across the organization.

Learning goals

After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to systematically explore, develop and change business-oriented ideas. They will have a good understanding of human-centered design and innovation processes for developing new products, services, or processes. They will be able to validate assumptions and test prototypes and will also have an understanding of the innovation and business incubation ecosystem. They will be able to transform new ideas into valuable solutions, within the context of impact and long-term implications. With their strengthened leadership and team-building skills, they will be able to work in, and lead, interdisciplinary innovation project teams.

  • Human-centered design and the nature of innovation ecosystems
  • From idea generation to business concept development and implementation
  • Expanding one's methodology to include breakthrough innovations such as open innovation, design thinking, co-creation, portfolio management leadership and more
This is a hands-on course with interactive individual and group assignments and keynote presentations.

Target group

The course is specifically designed for executives and management employees who want to learn how today's leading companies innovate and how they can become agents of change in their organizations and structures.

This course is recognized as Bildungszeit according to paragraph § 10 (5) of the Berliner Bildungszeitgesetz (BiZeitG).

Prerequisites

  • Participants are asked to come prepared to discuss their own challenges on the topic of innovation from their everyday professional life
  • Laptop/PC + headset with microphone

Dates

On-site in Berlin:
  • October 04, 2024 from 16:00-20:00 (CET)
  • October 12, 2024 from 09:00-17:00 (CET)
  • October 26, 2024 from 09:00-17:00 (CET)
Following the conclusion of the first two on-site sessions, participants will undertake a period of self-study (of 20-30 hours). This independent study phase will be accompanied by the lecturer, up to the date of the final on-site session. Lecturers will support participants for approx. 8 hours online, in the form of an open office hour, a small group workshop (or similar), by arrangement.

Klaus Kammermeier
Klaus G. Kammermeier creates and conducts workshops, learn-shops and online courses. He is a trainer, mentor and speaker on innovation, entrepreneurship and digital transformation. Mr Kammermeier is the Founder and Managing director of Cyoneer GmbH, an innovation consultancy supporting national and international corporations in their endeavour to innovate with impact. For more than 15 years, he has been leading - in technical and commercial leadership positions - multi-functional global high-performance teams in the US, Europe and Asia, to provide ground-breaking innovations. He teaches master students at Technische Universität Berlin (Space Engineering), Grenoble Ecole de Management (Innovation Strategy and Entrepreneurship), Glion Institute for Higher Education, and other international business schools. He studied Engineering, Economics and Management at Munich University of Applied Sciences, completed ‘Global Leadership 2020‘ at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and executive education at Columbia University Business School in New York City, USA. During the last few years, he has coached and mentored over 150 founders, startups and innovation leaders and supported startup-related research programs with Fraunhofer Institute, Helmhotz Association and GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit).
