THE ACADEMY
The TU Berlin Academy for Professional Education offers excellent continuing education with access to cutting-edge research at the renowned Technische Universität (TU) Berlin. Our fee-based courses in German and English are aimed at professionals and graduates all over the world who want to qualify themselves for future challenges.
The focus of our courses is on subject-specific technological trends and innovations, management and soft skills. We combine the principles of German engineering with current best practices, with a view to developing skills for the future. The lecturers at TU Berlin Academy for Professional Education are experienced professors and lecturers from TU Berlin as well as excellent representatives of their respective fields.
Our courses take place in person at the TU Berlin or online on our learning platform. You can look forward to interactive, lively teaching formats with state-of-the-art methodology and the opportunity to exchange experience with proven experts and international course participants. The Technische Universität Berlin is a research university rich in tradition and recognised worldwide. Science and technology are developed here for the benefit of society. For the benefit of society.” TU Berlin offers versatile and forward-looking content in seven faculties and over 100 study programs, spanning numerous institutes, cooperative programs and clusters of excellence, for around 35,000 students.

Research and teaching at Technische Universität Berlin are inseparably linked. Against this background, natural sciences, planning sciences and engineering sciences research and teach on an equal footing with humanities and social sciences.
Technische Universität Berlin has been an Excellence University since 2019. Together with Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt Universität zu Berlin and Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin, it forms the Berlin University Alliance. The aim of the alliance is to overcome the boundaries between disciplines and institutes in order to develop a scientific ‘ecosystem’ in the ‘Brain City Berlin’. With the goal of creating an integrated research space, the four partners promote cooperation not only among themselves but also with other universities, non-university research institutions, museums, civic and political associations, start-ups and partners from industry. Professional academic continuing education is an important contribution to Berlin as a location for science.
