CERTIFICATE COURSE | AUTONOMOUS MOBILITY AND ITS DIGITALIZATION

Why this course?
The course places a strong emphasis on presenting the main trends of autonomous vehicles and digitalization. Through close exchange with the lecturers and expert guest speakers, participants will gain specialist knowledge, whilst also working intensively on their own, practical project all along the course.
Methodology
This course includes a mix of lectures, interactive workshops, hands-on exercises, case studies, and individual projects to provide participants with a holistic learning experience. Participants are encouraged to actively engage in discussions and apply learned concepts to real-world scenarios. The course content is subject to updates based on the latest developments in the field of digitalized transport.
Learning goals

Contents
The course will examine the current issues related to autonomous vehicles through the lens of business, technology, policy and user perspectives. It will include a mix of lectures and practical exercises to provide participants with a holistic learning experience. Participants will be encouraged to actively engage in discussions and apply the concepts learned to real-world scenarios.

All course participants have access to a reduced course fee, as a result of support from the European Union's EIT Urban Mobility initiative.
Participants of an entity associate with PAVE Europe, will discuss the fee directly with PAVE Europe.

This course is recognized as Bildungszeit according to paragraph § 10 (5) of the Berliner Bildungszeitgesetz (BiZeitG).

This certificate course begins with a two-week, guided self-study phase, supplemented by three virtual sessions (probably from 16:00 to 18:00). This is followed by a three-day intensive attendance phase at Berlin.

Day 1 - May 5, 2025 - Basics of autonomous mobility

- Overall architecture: Understand the basic structure of autonomous systems.
