LEADING VIRTUAL TEAMS
04.11.2023+18.11.2023

In this 1.5-day course, participants will learn how to maximise the potential of their virtual team. The course deals with the goal-oriented virtual leadership of teams, interactive and motivating cooperation and how projects can be successfully completed. Under the guidance of experienced trainers, participants learn which attitudes and behaviours are required to lead virtual teams - so that the team works effectively and the individual team members can develop further.

Learning goals

After completing the course, participants know which factors make virtual teams successful. They will reflect on their own leadership behaviour, be aware of concrete and helpful behaviours in terms of working with and developing their team and testing these approaches in a protected space. Participants will also be able to develop solutions for difficult and challenging situations arising in their team.

Content

  • What matters: performance, resilience and satisfaction as success criteria
  • Strengthening personal responsibility and self-reflection in the team and taking the pressure off oneself
  • Promoting psychological safety to create a constructive feedback culture
  • Finding a common language and sharing knowledge with each other
  • Understanding and overcoming hurdles in virtual communication
The course includes impulse lectures, individual and group exercises and practical examples. It focuses on exchange, reflection and working on your specific issues. The course takes place initially in-person and then online, in order to experience and discuss the different aspects and possibilities of communication in these different contexts.
